Meet Our Staff

Carol Dorn (Owner): Carol founded GloPaul Media in August of 2003 and named her company after her parents, Gloria and Paul. She credits them with being her first mentors in writing, performing and producing and also with being her first investors. 

 

Carol’s experience includes such prestigious institutions as Juilliard, Lincoln Center, NBC, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Next Millennium Entertainment, Fred Burner Pictures. She has worked with dozens of notable people in the performing arts both on stage and film. Most recently she directed for Meryl Streep's Writers Lab winners -  one of which made the short list for the Nichols Fellowship at the Oscars.She also recently coached a group of top fashion models for Society Management Modeling Agency in NY.

 

In the corporate and business world she has contracted with companies such as United Technologies, Hamilton Standard, Pratt & Whitney, Department of Commerce: HUD and the Census Bureau and had the honor of working on projects for the Navy, NASA's first Mars Mission and was a hired staffer in charge of radio buys for the re-election of Attorney General Robert Abrams. This unique body of experience is what has brought her the opportunity to work with notable producers of Broadway, film & television and as well as the recording industry.

 

Besides these experiences Carol coaches actors, teaches screenwriting, playwriting and directing and coaches executives through their on camera job interviews as well as their performances for presentation and public speaking.

Currently she has three short films on the festival circuit and jboth in the US and abroad. She's currently  developing a feature version of her play DISCLOSURE FROM A CLOAKROOM with a goal towards filming in London  in 2024.

Freddie Lippi – Sound Designer/Audio Engineer/Editor

 

Originally from Rome, Freddie has studied Musical Theatre in New York City where she has also led a successful career in Stage and Production Management. In 2000 she moved to London to re-train in Sound Design and Audio Engineering and has since worked in a very broad range of live and recorded arts applications; from live sound mixing for music, sound system design and alignment, production sound for video, sound design for theatre and site-specific art installations. After 12 years at Southbank Centre where she worked as senior sound technician first and then technical project manager, Freddie joined the Platform Theatre at Central Saint Martins - UAL in 2017 where she has been the in-house Production Manager for all events, both student based and external and is resident sound designer. Freddie's excellence in sound is so in demand she was recently brought back to London to Central Saint Martins but will remain our in house sound and editor thanks to technology!

Alicia Borkowska (Online Acting Coach): Alicia is currently based in Warsaw where she has appeared in numerous TV series, Films and stage productions. She has also performed extensively in London and other parts of Europe. She made her US debate in the Broadway production of "Metro". Her new album 432 just launched on iTunes and is available for purchase. Alicia is currently coaching actors for their self tapes and executives for their on camera presence for both interviews and presentation work. She is also coaching singers in performance technique.
