Meet Our Staff
Carol Dorn (Owner): Carol founded GloPaul Media in August of 2003 and named her company after her parents, Gloria and Paul. She credits them with being her first mentors in writing, performing and producing and also with being her first investors.
Carol’s experience includes such prestigious institutions as Juilliard, Lincoln Center, NBC, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Next Millennium Entertainment, Fred Burner Pictures. She has worked with dozens of notable people in the performing arts both on stage and film. Most recently she directed for Meryl Streep's Writers Lab winners - one of which made the short list for the Nichols Fellowship at the Oscars.She also recently coached a group of top fashion models for Society Management Modeling Agency in NY.
In the corporate and business world she has contracted with companies such as United Technologies, Hamilton Standard, Pratt & Whitney, Department of Commerce: HUD and the Census Bureau and had the honor of working on projects for the Navy, NASA's first Mars Mission and was a hired staffer in charge of radio buys for the re-election of Attorney General Robert Abrams. This unique body of experience is what has brought her the opportunity to work with notable producers of Broadway, film & television and as well as the recording industry.
Besides these experiences Carol coaches actors, teaches screenwriting, playwriting and directing and coaches executives through their on camera job interviews as well as their performances for presentation and public speaking.
Currently she is in post production on her short FUCKING WALLPAPER, in pre-production on another short WHAT FALLS TO THE FLOOR, and SUNDAY and is in script stages on 2 other shorts. She will be filming her first major feature live action comedy sci-fi in co-production with Dark Moon Entertainment which is slated to start production the summer of 2022.
She has designed an entire plan for to build a moderate sized infinity green screen film studio with 6k live streaming that will accommodate independent filmmakers seeking affordable studio accommodations in the NY/CT region. This "campus will also provide post production services complete with editing suite and looping studio. She is being endorsed by both NYWIFT (New York Women in Film & Television) and NATAS (The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences - New York).

Freddie Lippi – Sound Designer/Audio Engineer/Editor
Originally from Rome, Freddie has studied Musical Theatre in New York City where she has also led a successful career in Stage and Production Management. In 2000 she moved to London to re-train in Sound Design and Audio Engineering and has since worked in a very broad range of live and recorded arts applications; from live sound mixing for music, sound system design and alignment, production sound for video, sound design for theatre and site-specific art installations. After 12 years at Southbank Centre where she worked as senior sound technician first and then technical project manager, Freddie joined the Platform Theatre at Central Saint Martins - UAL in 2017 where she has been the in-house Production Manager for all events, both student based and external and is resident sound designer. Freddie's excellence in sound is so in demand she was recently brought back to London to Central Saint Martins but will remain our in house sound and editor thanks to technology!
Katrina Michalewski (Production Coordinator): Katrina is new to our company and we are thrilled and lucky to have her. Katrina was in Global Advertising Production at Tiffany & Co. for four years. There she honed her project management skills through supervising key advertising placements such as the Tiffany & Co takeover of Grand Central Station. All the while maintaining her creative spirit by taking classes at The Stella Adler Studioof Acting and taking singing lessons at Linda Benanti's Voice Studio. Ms. Michalewski graduated in 2015 from Villanova University as a Communication major who specialized in Public Relations.
Hannah Katinsky (Associate Producer): Hannah is a fresh face to the industry, just having earned her degree in Arts & Entertainment Management from Pace University. She has experience in short-form and special-event media and is looking forward to learning more about feature-length films and their process from page to screen. We are incredibly grateful to have her on our team as she's already contributed greatly.
Alicia Borkowska (Online Acting Coach): When we are asked about giving acting lessons this is our go-to artist. Alicia is currently based in Warsaw where she has appeared in numerous TV series, Films and stage productions. She has also performed extensively in London and other parts of Europe. She made her US debate in the Broadway production of "Metro". She just finished recording a new album that will be made available on here through iTunes shortly. Alicia is currently coaching actors for their self tapes and executives for their on camera presence for both interviews and presentation work. She is also coaching singers in performance technique.
